NSCoPSE Membership: Represents the educational focus for LA and independent advisors, consultants or inspectors, for all aspects of PSE. Full Membership: is available to all professionals with qualified teacher status. Associate Membership: is available to all other professionals supporting PSE who do not have QTS. Please note that all members receive the same benefits. Annual subscription: £45 (Please note that subscriptions are due on 1st April each year. Membership lapses if the annual subscription is not received by 31st May.) Advantages of membership: With the advent of statutory PSHE in the new primary and secondary curriculum, sustained implementation of the ECM agenda, new OFSTED framework, National PSHE CPD programme and importance of well-being all contributing to school improvement, the role of PSE has never been more important. The links between learning and well-being are explicit and the role of Personal & Social Development is being increasingly recognised at a time of change and financial pressure. As a small but focused, specialist organization, NSCoPSE members provide expert advice to National policy, strategic professional planning and practice to agencies and organisations such as schools, collages and individual teachers, Local Authorities, National Agencies and the Voluntary Sector to ensure the entitlement of young people. NSCoPSE members are actively represented at every level of consultation in the developments of PSHE. Our collaboration with international groups and other agencies including the NHEG and PSHE Association, provides members with a forum for reflection and discussion; opportunities to share good practice, up-to-date information and unique access to the best available thinking. NSCoPSE provides a unique reciprocal relationship with and for members between educational development and provision of an essential aspect of the curriculum, learning and school improvement. Our member's unique expertise contributes to improved national policy, strategic development of good practice and professional training.
