Our Mission:

NSCoPSE is committed to maintaining the focus on a broad concept of personal and social education, encompassing not only the new curriculum elements of PSHE education and citizenship but also education for sustainability, careers and work related learning.

Since ints inception NSCoPSE has represented the advisory, inspector and consultant body who work to ensure young people's entitlement to high-quality PSD.

We believe that opportunities for personal and social development are a fundamental entitlement of all pupils and that these can be most effectively provided by a whole school, whole curriculum approach to personal and social education.

We regard the involvement of pupils, parents and the community in the planning and review of personal and social education programmes to be of paramount importance if they are to be relevant and effective.
